At The Beach Escapes, we are increasingly welcoming groups of family members and friends who are keen to celebrate being away in a larger group whilst enjoying the privacy of their own apartment to which they can retreat at the end of each day.

Each apartment offers its own unique touches for Staycation Holidays!

Our five luxury apartments have quality and style in common – and each boasts plenty of space, hugely comfortable living areas, sumptuous bedrooms and luxury bathrooms. There are two Smart TVs per apartment; one in the living area and one in the bedroom, and the kitchens are also very well-equipped and designed to a very high standard.

Despite similar standards of specification, each beach front holiday apartment has been designed to be unique, with different decorative fabrics and furnishings. The bedrooms of our Admiral’s Deck and Captain’s Cabin apartments are classically nautical in design, whilst the Gulls’ Rest bedroom is a delightful retreat, with muted tones and soft grey furnishings. The bedroom in Stones Throw is decorated in a restful green, making it impossible for guests not to relax, and Seascape is beautifully accessorised with rich hints of burnt orange. The bathrooms also vary in shape and decor; so, if an actual bath is important for one of your party, then make sure they are booked into Admiral’s Deck or Captain’s Cabin. The remaining apartments all offer top-quality walk-in showers, so are perfect for all ages.

The outside spaces all vary slightly – if you intend to operate a fully ‘open house’ policy during your stay, then everyone will benefit from access to all our outdoor areas including the impressive first-floor, sea-facing balcony of the Admiral’s Deck, the entire beachfront terrace and an impressive total of three patio areas at the rear of the property. If you do prefer to maintain that element of privacy, then make sure you have all agreed on your preferences regarding outside space before arriving! Whichever way you choose to enjoy the property, you will all have direct access straight onto the promenade and beach – the location really is quite something here at The Beach Escapes!

If you’re looking to celebrate a special anniversary or holiday, then we offer the perfect destination. There is plenty on offer for a special break away for all ages and interests. During the summer months you can just enjoy lazy days on the beach and BBQs on the terrace from which you can enjoy the glorious sunsets. Alternatively, you could take a trip on the Romney Hythe & Dymchurch Railway (see our previous blog) or visit Port Lympne, Kent’s largest wildlife park for a day with its own unforgettable safari experience set against hundreds of acres of stunning Kentish savannah. Or, if some of your group fancy taking in a shopping trip, you could make a trip to the impressive McArthurGlen designer shopping outlet in Ashford or the historic city of Canterbury, which has a Fenwick department store, High Street favourites such as Zara, H&M and Primark, as well as a plethora of independent boutiques. Or, if you’re feeling particularly adventurous, you could hop on a ferry at the Port of Dover and head to Boulogne for the day or take the quicker route to France via the Eurotunnel and spend a day in Calais.

If it’s a celebratory meal you’re after, then we’re more than happy to help you choose the right establishment for the occasion. There are some very well renowned restaurants in Folkestone, including Rocksalt and Mark Sargeant’s Brasserie or you could opt for the nearby Waterfront restaurant in Hythe or take a jaunt just up the road to the Michelin-starred Hide and Fox restaurant in Saltwood.

It’s worth bearing in mind that, whilst we don’t have reception staff on hand, we are always available on the telephone and only five minutes away should you need any assistance. And though we don’t have an on-site bar we do offer an honesty bar should you fancy a tipple!
